Streatham Food Court launch
Saturday 3rd July 2021 will see the launch of a brand new outdoor seating area on Streatham Green, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy food and drink purchased on the tour. As well as a small market and a pedal powered music system will be up and running and festival sponsors, Marlowe Estates, will be offering face painting to entertain families.
To tie in with the Food Festival and the return of the Streatham Village Market we are dressing Streatham Green to host an additional seating area to support the local food establishments in the area.
The current seating will get colourful vinyl wraps and fun floor vinyls for kids and adults alike to enjoy such as hop scotch and snakes and ladders and there will be floral displays on all the lamp columns and butterflies in the trees. There will also be some additional seating on top green and some colourful signage to welcome people.
All in all it will be a mini makeover, celebrating the Streatham Food Festival, loving local and eating local. Local businesses won’t be serving there but you can collect from local venues and come and enjoy the vibes.
The seating will be in place for the festival and if people love it, it may even stay longer!
