From the nutritional and healthy, to the indulgent naughty but nice, Streatham High Road comes alive in March with its third Annual Food Festival.

For seven days (24-31 March) Streatham’s  restaurants, eateries and bars join forces to bring South Londoners  its annual culinary festival that’s designed to celebrate  its fabulously diverse range of food , irrespective of whether you’re a stick-to-what-you-know type or a culinary adventurist.

This year Streatham Food Festival will be split into three mouth-watering portions. The main Family day on 24th March takes place at Gracefield Gardens with a street food fiesta along Streatham Central outside Streatham Odeon.

It will be a time for the whole family to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a whole host of live cooking demonstrations and workshops.   There is even a chance to get those burning culinary questions answered at our festival food clinic.

The most delicious weekend won’t stop there.  Locals will be able to taste the many gastronomic delights on offer cooked and supplied by local restaurateurs and chefs and presented as street food.  You’ll be able to munch your way around the world such is the variety of foods stalls available along one of the country’s longest High Roads.

As most foodies will know Streatham’s global route could take you from Indian curries, to Italian pizza and pasta, Mediterranean kebabs, English fish and chips, Spanish paella, Thai, Japanese sushi; African, Somalian and Caribbean flavourful cuisines, and that’s just for starters.

During festival week local restaurants and bars will be offering day and evening events special festival menus, discounts, and great meal deals.

Don’t miss out on the World Food Court on Streatham Green on 31st March where the Festival will host an open air culinary workshops and cookery demonstrations lead by familiar faces and the new kids on the gastronomic block.
