Sunday 19th June, 11am–5pm
Streatham Green, Streatham High Road, SW16 6HF
The festival returns to Streatham Green for another day of food, music and great community vibes. This year’s line-up features old favourites such as jerk chicken, BBQ’d fish and boozy ice creams, plus a few new stalls including Chinese street food, Indian-inspired British classics and artisan crepes.
Local art duo id-iom, who specialise in street art and guerrilla campaigns will be creating a food-inspired piece of art live during the event. Harmonious musical entertainment comes courtesy of the friendly and inclusive community choir Sing Out Streatham who firmly believe singing should be open to everyone. Plus we’ll be celebrating Father’s Day with men’s choir Bellows Fellows who will be sharing songs from different styles and traditions.
The South Lambeth Schools’ Partnership will be showing off their school-grown produce and you can visit the Lambeth Food Flagship stall to find out more about this pioneering programme and how it can benefit you, your family and community.
Budding chefs won’t want to miss our Demo Tent where we’ll have live demonstrations throughout the day, along with the final of our children’s recipe competition.
The food stalls will once again be spilling out onto Babington Road Plaza and there will be plenty of space for relaxing on the green (don’t forget your picnic blanket!). So come along and enjoy the sights, sounds and taste sensations of the 2016 Sunday Food Fair.
